What is NEHS?
The National English Honor Society is an organization created to honor students who excel in the area of English Language Arts. NEHS is sponsored by Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society (for four-year colleges), in affiliation with Sigma Kappa Delta, English Honor Society (for two-year colleges).
Qualified students may be tapped into the society in their junior or senior year. Upon joining, members qualify to participate in a number of social and service activities and also have the opportunity to apply for NEHS scholarships.
